Our History

The journey to our corporation’s formation started with sea bass, mules, laughter on an escalator in Terminal 3 at the Dallas Airport, and a simple desire to stay in touch with our newly found friends from our Animal Chiropractic program. With limited options for continuing education to maintain our Animal Chiropractic certification, we decided we were going to fill that void by creating an event with prestigious speakers, unique experiences, and a destination with amazing views. First things first, we had to finish our program and pass the certification test later that year. Luckily, everyone on our board passed the first time around and we didn’t have to replace anyone. Phew.

Our first board meeting, which included 4 Chiropractors and 2 Veterinarians, was held in Las Vegas, Nevada in early January 2018. With much excitement, anxiety, and anticipation for what we were about to create, we sat down at the dinner table, and let our dream take shape. The next few hours were spent developing ideas, setting goals, and building our vision to ensure the success and growth of our fledgling corporation. What a fun, but exhausting, and overwhelming process. Shortly after our first board meeting, we added 3 more board members and defined our roles and responsibilities in the organization. Over the next few months, we hashed out the logistical details: found the right cruise to meet our needs, applied for all of the business registrations, secured our speakers, applied for CE approvals, and generated enough buzz about our event to make it a reality. The date is set, the rooms have been blocked off, and we are anxiously counting down the days until our next annual event. We hope we don’t disappoint you with our efforts and appreciate your support and trust. See you in the sun!
